Traffic Corp (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates this website at trafficcorp.com.au. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the site and in the course of our work, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can get in touch about it.

What we collect

The personal information we collect is generally limited to what we need to respond to an enquiry and deliver work:

• Enquiry form and direct contact – your name, email address, phone number, the nature of your enquiry and anything else you choose to include in your message.
• Project and business contacts – names, positions, contact details and correspondence for people we deal with at client, contractor and authority organisations.
• Technical information – our web hosting automatically records standard server log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and the date and time of each visit.

We do not seek sensitive information through this website, and we ask that you do not send it through the enquiry form.

How we use it

We use personal information to:

• respond to your enquiry and provide quotations;
• plan, deliver and invoice work, and keep records of it;
• meet safety, quality and compliance obligations on the projects we deliver;
• operate, maintain and secure this website.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not send marketing material to people who have not asked for it.

Who we disclose it to

We disclose personal information only where it is needed for the purposes above, including to:

• our IT, web hosting and email service providers;
• subcontractors, suppliers and consultants engaged on the work your enquiry relates to;
• road authorities, councils and principal contractors where a project requires it;
• our professional advisers, insurers and, where required or authorised, law enforcement or other bodies under Australian law.

Overseas disclosure

Some of the service providers we rely on – for example email, cloud storage and website services – may store or process information on servers located outside Australia. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure the information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Cookies and website data

This website uses cookies for basic site functionality, such as keeping a session working correctly and remembering settings for logged-in users. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.

This site loads fonts from Google’s font service, which means your IP address is visible to Google when a page loads. We do not currently run advertising or third-party tracking on this site.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including access controls on our systems and encrypted connections to this website. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
