Road and public lighting depends on infrastructure that is mostly out of sight – footings, underground conduit, cabling and supply connections. Public Lighting Installation

Works include footing construction, pole erection, luminaire mounting, cabling and terminations, and connection to the supply point. Lighting installed as part of a road project has to be coordinated with the civil program and with the services already in the ground.

Underground Electrical Services

Underground works cover excavation and trenching, boring where open trenching is not practical, pit installation, conduit runs and cable hauling, and reinstatement of the surface afterwards. Service proving and locating are carried out before any excavation begins.

Feeder Pillars and Supply Connections

Roadside electrical infrastructure needs a supply point and a means of isolating and protecting it. We install feeder pillars and distribution equipment, run the supply cabling and terminate connections ready for energisation.

Testing, Fault Finding and Rectification

Electrical testing confirms that an installation performs as intended before it is handed over. On existing assets, fault investigation identifies where a problem sits – the supply, the cabling, a connection or the equipment itself – so the right repair is carried out.

Working Alongside Civil and Signal Works

Most of this work happens on live roads, in the same corridor as traffic signals, drainage and other services. Delivering the civil and the electrical scope together means the trenching, the conduit and the cabling are sequenced as one program rather than handed between contractors.
